What platforms does Strandweave support?
Strandweave is a Mac app that requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Does Strandweave send my audio to the cloud?
No. Recordings, transcripts and session data are stored locally on your Mac. Transcription runs offline using the local Whisper runtime — nothing is transmitted to any server.
Can I transcribe recordings I already have?
Yes. Use Import Audio to bring in M4A, WAV, MP3, AAC, AIFF, CAF, MOV or MP4 files. Strandweave will run local transcription on the imported session.
